wanted: things to use for playing pieces
Any little figurines can be used to play the game, if they're little enough.
By "little enough" we're talking about an inch tall [3 cm], two inches [5 cm] on the outside, to work on a normal board.
For instance, Dungeons & Dragons miniatures and Homies vending machine figurines have worked well for us.
Heroclix figures, the "normal-sized" ones, have a good height, but a base that's just slightly larger than ideal.
Mage Knight figures are even better, though could still have slightly smaller bases.
Japanese figures, sadly, usually start about twice the ideal size, but some gachapon toys are perfect height, though bases can still be too big.
The original/small Smorkin' Labbits are close to the right size if stood up on their hind ends; Toybots/Qee/etc are a bit large, dang.
My preferences run to cute/hot/sexy females, but I also like bunnies and beer-related figures.
Is it too much to ask for a cute, sexy babe in bunny-ears hoisting a beer?
Also dig weird figures, characters with cool weapons, or figures based on other things I like.
My favorites so far are Mija (Homies) and Bloodweiser Babe (a Blood Bowl miniature), but I'm always looking for more.
